For anyone hurt in a road accident, a bad fall, poisoning, a deep cut or drowning, the first hour decides the most. Trauma surgeon Dr. R. Adams Cowley called it the Golden Hour, and Health Travellers was founded on that idea.
Medical travel has grown fast, at home and across borders, and families need patient transfer and repatriation that is fast, safe and affordable. Where is your office?
Our head office is at 56 Lake Circus, West Panthapath, Dhaka 1205, near Square Hospital. You’re welcome to visit, but you never need to come in to arrange a transfer.
Are you really available 24/7?
Yes. Coordinators answer the hotline and WhatsApp around the clock, every day of the year.
Who decides how the patient travels?
We decide together with the treating physician. Air, helicopter, road or rail is chosen based on the patient’s condition, your budget and the time frame.
Do you work with hospitals abroad?
Yes. We have tie-ups with major hospitals in Bangladesh and abroad, so the receiving team is ready when the patient arrives.
Do you help with treatment abroad for patients who can travel alone?
Yes. Through our medical tourism service, we help with choosing a hospital, booking appointments and planning travel.
Do you also arrange planned, non-emergency transfers?
Yes. Besides emergencies, we arrange planned transfers, such as bringing a patient home after treatment abroad.
